Many people suffer from upper back pain from sitting at a desk
Do you find yourself slouching or grabbing your shoulders trying to find some way to ease your back discomfort?

Here are some helpful tips:
Stretch
Take a break from the computer or desk by getting up every 30 minutes to walk around and stretch your legs. Walk to your kitchen for a drink of water or use the restroom. Giving your body a chance to move around helps with circulation and can alleviate back pain.
Posture
Holding correct posture while sitting at a desk can greatly decrease back pain. Position your computer high enough to meet eye level, invest in an ergonomic chair that supports the lower back with feet resting flat on the floor, and your keyboard should be adjusted to the appropriate height where your elbows are bent at 90 degrees.
Massage
While taking breaks and holding the correct posture can temporarily help decrease back pain, therapeutic massage is proven to further alleviate back pain and help you avoid possible injury in the future. A licensed therapist will use their knowledge and different techniques to relieve tight muscle tension, alleviate trigger points, and work on any areas to bring balance to the body.
